It was so exciting creating this emoji to commemorate the #Apollo50th moon landing anniversary of when humans first stepped foot on the moon. This multifaceted project included, animation, illustration and emoji design. We wanted to create something playful and whimsical that would celebrate this monumental event.

Asian Heritage Emoji
I created this emoji to celebrate Asian Heritage Month. I was honored to be able to celebrate the contributions and influences of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture and achievements of the United States. The lotus flower symbolizes many different things throughout Asia . Lotuses have become a symbol for resilience, as their ability to thrive in undesirable conditions parallels how a person may find happiness even amidst darkness. They also symbolize rebirth and unwavering faith, as well as purity of body, mind and spirit.
EU Elections Emoji
We created an emoji for the European Parliament elections in May, seeking to provide a visual link to channel conversations around a vote set to affect the European Union in the coming years. The intention behind creating this emoji was to encourage more voters to easily connect with the conversation, find out what’s happening and participate in the democratic process.
